Many websites display advertisements, but rarely do they have the ability to manage them. So we have developed an Advertiser Manager Application that allows you to manage each listing that you wish to display on your website.

This type of management is ideal if you are an organization or club that has numerous members which also operate their own business's. Using this application you can allow them to advertise on your website, (for whatever fee you deem appropriate).

The initial design is to display a picture of their business card, but also provide a text advertisement if a picture is currently unavailable. An additional display of text is provided for when the website visitor moves the mouse over the business card picture. This is to ensure that the contact information is easy to read. If the business has their own website then website visitors will be able to click on the business card to visit it. Displaying Inline adds only supports images and does not include the extended text information. That feature is only available for the full page add display.

Each entry can be assigned an expiration date. This allows you to define the period for which they have paid to have their business card displayed. By default the billing period is to 1st of July each year, however you can adjust the date to anything you require. Ideal if a business pays for numerous years in advance.

Once the expiration date is reached, that advertisement will not be displayed on the page.

Included is a website search feature, so that your visitors can type in keywords to search for a specific business, or any business that offers a specific service. People can type in a business owner name, a business name, or a type of service they require, such as plumber, builder, gardener etc.. This will refine the list of advertisers to only include those that match the search criteria. You can also enter words to exclude by simply placing a - infront of the word. Example repair -plumber. Some of the key benefits are:

• Generates a single page with business card pictures for each advertiser.
• Can also display Inline adds on any page that is configured to allow adds.
• You can configure which adds are displayed inline for each page that is configured to allow adds..
• Provides ability to define an expiration date.
• Include a list of keywords to be associated with each listing. For use with the search feature.
• Includes a handy search feature to allow website visitors to quickly and easily locate listings that match their preferences.

The Advertising Manager will display all listings and include the number of days remaining, or if their advertising period has expired. You can search and sort using a range of criteria. As usual, all applications developed by Bout Time Software can be configured to your exact specifications as they are all written in house. We do not use or rely upon any third party software (such as wordpress) or templates.
