The Company Profile
Browse Inn is a Brisbane based, one stop shop for the antique enthusiast.
A unique store boasting an interesting array of antique furniture for everyday living.
Specialising in restoration supplies, Browse Inn stocks all products (including shellac) needed to restore and maintain your furniture.
Business has now closed down.
The Brief
The Website should focus around the photo of the building and the colour scheme should be complementary. That being, the same Blue / Orange as the building paint scheme.
The ability to manage all products to be displayed online, plus the ability to manage photos for a photo gallery.
The Design Details
Creating a clean design layout and now for the first time incorporating a mixed layout website.
This means that some pages are using a fixed width layout, while others such as the product manager where numerous products are displayed on a single page, is using a variable width layout.
This allows the website to use all available browser / screen width where possible when displaying pages that could potentially include a large amount of content, but then for when a product is displayed, or a page that has a known amount of content is displayed, the website will revert back to a fixed width to ensure continuity and ensure the page is displayed as intended.
This is just one of the features that we can incorporate into any website design. There is no need to be forced into one layout design or another. Where appropriately they can be combined.
