The Company Profile

The Caloundra Power Boat Club (CPBC) opened on 18 February 1978 with no separate social club representing the fishing club in those early days. The CPBC Fishing Club was formed in the early 1980's with members travelling up from Brisbane and surrounds to compete in monthly competitions.

The CPBC Fishing Club has gone from strength to strength over the years with present membership exceeding 70 members plus our junior anglers. The Club encourages and supports junior angling throughout the Sunshine Coast by conducting an annual Take a Kid Fishing Day and a Schoolfish Education Program with the Golden Beach School.

A website that they are able to manage and update themselves.

The Design Details

The design was based on their logo, so that featured as the main design for the top section and for the heading backgrounds.

Custom applications were developed to manage their competition results / calendars and committee information. As that information is managed in Excel, the website applications were designed to allow them to upload that content directly without having to transcribe or re-enter any information. The website then managed the display automatically to ensure it fit in the layout.
