Purchase Order Request Form HELP
How to use this Order Form
This form allows you to select the products you wish to purchase, easily and quickly,
without the need to navigate multiple pages (like a typical shopping cart would force you to do). You simply enter the
quantities of each product you wish to purchase, fill out the Billing Section and submit it all from the one page.
You can click on the thumbnail picture for each product and a new window will open up and take you to that products web
page if one exists.
Once you have completed filling out the form and selected the products you wish to purchase (by entering the quantity you wish),
you can preview your order, by clicking on the Preview button. This summary will be opened in a new window (so you do not
lose your current selections in the form).
To actually SUBMIT your order, you must click on the Check Box "CONFIRM", then the SUBMIT button will be visible. Warning
this will process your order immediately, as there are no other confirmation prompts. When you click on Submit it will open up a new
window. If you did not close the Preview window then the order will be displayed there.
Don't forget at the bottom of the order form (just above the submit button) is an option for you to enter your own tracking or reference number
You can enter anything in there that you wish, if it helps you identify the order / quote.
Category Quick Access Menu
Once the Order Form has been loaded, there is a small red (right facing) arrow at the top left of the screen. Clicking on this
will display (or hide) the Category Quick Access Menu. This allows you to quickly move around the page, by going directly to the category you click on.
It will also allow you to show or hide any Categories simply by clicking on their Checkbox. *NOTE* if you click on the down facing arrow to move to that category but its
checkbox is unselected, then nothing will happen.
This Quick Access Menu will scroll up and down the page with you, so it will be available at all times.
If you have selected products from a category you now hide, don't worry they are not lost.
Requesting A Quote Option
The Product Order Request Form is designed for people who wish to purchase products, however we also understand that people may wish to request a Quote first.
An example of this is if a staff member wishes to present a quote to their client, or their superior for approval prior to Ordering. So at the top of the order form
(once it has loaded) you will find a check box. Simply select this if you wish to submit a Quote instead of an Order. When you Click on Preview you will see that it states QUOTE instead of ORDER as the heading.
You still have to submit the quote it as you would a normal order. You will receive an email copy of the quote which you can print out and present to your client or superior.
The Benefit of this feature is you can obtain a no obligation quote at any time.
Obtaining Additional Product Information
For most products being displayed, there should be a corresponding web page where you can obtain additional information and specifications. Simply move your mouse over the thumbnail and if such a page exists you will get the prompt
"Click here to view more information about this product".
If this product has an extended description then you should see
below the Quantity Selection box. Moving your mouse over this Image will display a popup box. Information displayed here can also be included on the Order or Quote by checking the Display Extended Description option just above the Preview/Submit button at the bottom of this page. You can see how the extended description is displayed from the Preview Screen.
If you see this
then no extended description is currently available.
REVIEW
If you have an account, and logged on, then on the top menu of the order form you should see a Review option. This will allow you to review your existing orders and quotes that you have submitted. It will also allow you to download the .pdf files of those orders / quotes.
This is ideal if for some reason the email was not received, or the pdf file attachment was damaged or accidentally deleted. Here you can download it again.
